At Interzoo in Nuremberg, Handtmann will present modular production systems for manufacturing a wide variety of pet foods at Hall 5, Booth 207. The portfolio includes solutions ranging from product preparation with Handtmann Inotec technology, through processing, all the way to packaging interfaces for trays, cans, cups, or thermoformed packaging. These systems are suitable for both formed and portioned products, such as wet food, snacks and treats, raw food, dry food, chunks, as well as trending products featuring insect protein or alternative ingredients. Concept ideas on display include pet food sachets in alginate casing and snacks in customized shapes. In addition to modular series solutions, Handtmann also offers upstream and downstream interfaces, project planning, and tailored solutions for individual customer needs.
In product preparation, Handtmann will showcase the I175-T fine cutting and emulsifying technology for medium-sized and industrial operations. The one- to five-stage cutting system ensures reliable processing of a wide range of products and viscosities. For the direct production of pet snacks and treats on grids, Handtmann will present the FS 510 forming system in combination with the VF 800 vacuum filler. This allows for flexible shaping of sticks, cubes, bars, pellets, or custom shapes like paws and hearts from animal-based, plant-based, or insect protein raw materials. Production can run on up to 24 lanes simultaneously.
In the dosing segment, Handtmann will unveil a new automation system, featuring the DS 560 P dosing system and the ZB 391 feeding and positioning solution for a wide range of containers. This solution is ideal for pasty, chunky, and liquid products with inclusions. For the production of a variety of sausage products, the booth will also feature a vacuum filling machine paired with a clipping machine.
